Honey Beer Bread

To go with the Chicken Noodle Soup I made the other day I made some homemade bread. We aren't birds, we cannot survive on veggies alone.

This recipe was introduced to me by my mother in law, and although Id like to make it more, because who doesn't love fresh, hot bread out of the oven, we don't need the carbs *sad face*. To start, in a medium bowl mix together 3 cups flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt. Preheat oven to 350°F.

Then add to the flour mixture 2 tablespoons honey (heated so it mix in better) and 12oz beer!

Once it is all mixed then melt the butter and pour half of it into a loaf pan and pour batter in.

Then pour the other half over the top of batter and pop in the oven for 50-60 mins. When it starts getting brown on top its done.

Eat it hot!

Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour, 2 Tbsp. sugar, 1 Tbsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 2 Tbsp. honey, 1 bottle (12 ounces) beer, 4 Tbsp. butter
