Herb Biscuits

Want to know a secret? Its this recipe. And its AMAZING!!!! This is my go-to side dish, crowd pleasing, melt-in-your-mouth-moment, sit in front of the oven staring at the timer kind of recipe!! Like normal Hello Hungry fashion...its super easy!

1. For this recipe you need just a few ingredients: 2c flour, 8 tbs butter,  ¾ c milk, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp salt. Pick your favorite herbs or whatever you have, fresh or dried and that's it! Preheat oven to 425° f.

2. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Chop up 1½ tbs of whatever herbs you'd like and sprinkle into the flour mixture. I use anywhere from 3-4 different herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage, parsley, basil, tarragon) for a strong herb taste that goes great with a chicken or meat dish, to just a few sprigs of rosemary for subtle, savory flavor.

3. Then cut in the butter till theres only small pea size clumps. After, slowly mix in the milk.

4. Mix with a wooden spoon until you have a ball of dough. Dont mix too much you pretty much just want it to all combine together.

5.  Pull round-ish clumps off the dough ball and place on a silpat or parchment paper about an inch or two apart.

6. Cook for 17 minutes. Make sure you have the butter ready to spread. While they are still hot I can probably eat about 2...ok, 3. Is it bad im craving these at 11am?!?!
